Giovanni Dos Santos

Giovanni Dos Santos is for sure one of the new promises that is playing for Barcelona. Giovanni dos Santos Ramírez (his full name) is Mexican and what first comes to attention when see him on TV is he looks like Ronaldinho: their skills and appealing are almost the same! Although he has "child face" is imposing and has very strong legs, in addition to that he has natural talent.


Giovanni dos Santos is a midfielder with the under 17 Mexican soccer team that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2005 in Peru. Gio helped Mexico to defeat Brazil.

His father is the Brazilian ex football player Gerardo Dos Santos (better known as "Zizinho"), who played for some Mexican teams as América and Monterrey. Giovanni also has two brothers, that play soccer too, one of them with Barcelona.

Giovanni dos Santos is fullfilling of pride Mexicans, where he is called "la perla mexicana" which means the mexican pearl.

Another top moment in Giovanni Dos Santos career was when he obtained the league title with the A Youth, in which he was the maximum scorer of the league with 8 goals.

You can bet that Gio is going to be one of the next cracks of Barcelona.
